Southern Sweden Design Days is celebrating its 5th anniversary and we look forward to designing Malmö's design festival together with you! 22–25 May is the fifth edition with a focus on sustainability, cooperation, development and innovation. The design festival is organised by Form/Design Center.

Open Call

Take the chance to be part of Southern Sweden Design Days 2025! Register your participation between 1 November and 15 January and take part in the design festival on 22–25 May. Through your participation, you will have the opportunity to reach a wide audience through exciting program activities.

Tips on locations: Pampas basement

Pampas is looking for creatives who want to participate in Pampas Basement during Southern Sweden Design Days. During Southern Sweden Design Days, the basement space under Pampas Store will be transformed into an exhibition, marking the start of Pampas Basement as a permanent exhibition space – a hidden gem in Malmö’s art and design scene. Would you like to help shape the space, showcase your work or use the space for another creative project during Southern Sweden Design Days?

Open Call: BISe x SSDD 2025

Apply to participate in a group exhibition with selected objects at restaurant BISe during Southern Sweden Design Days. BISe is once again looking for designers who want to 'SSDD-ify' the venue and give designers the opportunity to display objects in the restaurant. Do you want to decorate the tables, walls, floors or staff? Have an idea for an SSDD special dish or drink or spice up the menu during the festival’s 5th anniversary? Exhibiting at BISe is free of charge.

ReFabLab are looking for participants for paid residency

Are you passionate about sustainability and innovation in art? ReFab Lab AB invites artists to apply for a 5-week paid residency focused on material reuse, experimentation, and creative transformation. This residency offers the opportunity to explore the potential of discarded and found materials, challenging traditional art & design making practices while fostering dialogue about sustainability and waste in the creative process.
